Sunday, October 14th was a big day at Suffolk Downs and a big day for Diane Beekler. 16,000 walkers turned out for the seventh annual Greater Boston Walk Now for Autism. The New England chapter of Autism Speaks, an advocacy group that runs the fund-raiser, said the walk has outgrown its former location at Artesani Park in Brighton. Greater Boston walkers raised more than $1 million. Diane raised $800! Please enjoy the photos.
